70 Goals in 7 Days Challenge – The Results

7 days ago I set myself a challenge to achieve 70 goals in one week, please see my blog post. Today is day 7 and one of my goals for today is to detail the results of this challenge.

Each of the goals I set myself individually do not seem like much but when you add them up, it is AMAZING what can be achieved in one week.

The goal categories that I focused on with this challenge were:

  • Business
  • Relationship
  • Contribution
  • Health, Fitness and Diet

Business Goals – A summary of the goals I achieved are:

  • 7 video blogs on YouTube – check out my new YouTube channel
  • 5 new blogs on my website and coming up with 10 future blog posts
  • A number of useful online course completed – check out Udemy
  • Creating a freebie for my website and creating a landing page
  • Reading chapters from Unleash the Giant Within and The Secret
  • Vision board – I downloaded this from Jack Canfield’s website and now it is the background on my IPhone
  • Decided on a topic for my new personal development book
  • Scheduling facebook posts
  • Joining the Life Coach directory
  • Booked to attend a women’s networking event

Relationship Goals – A summary of the goals I achieved are:

  • Booked a fabulous restaurant I have always wanted to go to
  • Organised a “date night”, champagne at the Ritz followed by dinner at one of my husband’s favourite restaurants
  • Booked to stay in a lovely hotel in May
  • Booked a flight to somewhere I have never been before, so we are off to San Sebastian in September
  • Booked to climb to the top of The Monument in London together

Contributions Goals – A summary of the goals I achieved are:

  • Completed random acts of kindness every day. This is a lovely goal that really makes you think about how you can help people and do something good every day.
  • Donated clothes to charity
  • Signed up for a charity event call “The Big Sleep Out’, this involves sleeping out on the streets of London in support of the Big Issue.

Health – Fitness and Diet – A summary of the goals I achieved are:

  • 140 minutes mediation
  • Ran 19km
  • 1.5 hours of walking
  • 25 minutes of high intensity interval training
  • Yoga
  • 50 sit ups, press ups and squats
  • 2 days juice detox (following Jason Vale’s plan)

This isn’t even all the goals that I achieved this week! As a Life Coach, I like to practice what I preach. Hopefully this just goes to show what can be achieved in just one week.

What Have I Learned This Week?

I found it really amazing how much I could achieve before 9am in the morning. For example, going for a run, meditating, recording a video for YouTube, sit ups, reading etc. I found that I felt fantastic after achieving so many goals really early on and I just felt really happy each morning. Is there a better way to start the day than that?! I also think meditation is a really key activity that really helps to clear and calm the mind. This is something that I felt uncomfortable doing at the beginning but by day 7 I was loving it.

It got me thinking that imagine if I kept this going… I could achieve a lot!
