One Week Challenge: 10 goals per day for 7 days

To achieve great things, we must challenge and question how we spend our time and energy every day.

The idea behind this goals challenge is to see what can be achieved in just one week. On this basis, I have set myself 10 goals per day for 7 days, which means that by the end of the week I will have achieved 70 goals, wow what a week this is going to be! I am excited to see if I can actually do it. I have been thinking about starting some of the goals on this list for a while and this is exactly the kick start I need. There are certain goals that I want to have my list every day and these are:

  • Meditation: I have never meditated before, but I have always wanted to get started on this because of the well publicise benefits. I am up for the challenge of trying this out for twenty minutes every day for 7 days.
  • Video blogging: I have my own youtube channel, so I really want to start putting videos out there. Therefore setting myself this challenge will make sure that this actually happens every day.
  • Completing random acts of kindness: there are no downside to having this as a goal every day.
  • Exercise: I want to complete some form of exercise every day for a week, whether it is a walk, yoga class, a run or an exercise class. We all know that exercise is good for you, so this will make me do it every day!

The other 6 goals for each day are a bit more random that will help me towards achieving my bigger goals in life.

My plan is to print out all these goals and stick them up in the kitchen where I will see them every day. From here it will be easy to tick them off once I have achieved them. Making my goals public will also mean I have people to hold me accountable to, so I will have to do them.

All my goals are detailed below. In one week, I will write an update on this challenge and what I have achieved each day. Wish me luck!

 

Goals – Day 1

  1. Meditate for 20 minutes
  2. Publish a video blog
  3. Complete a random act of kindness
  4. Run 5km
  5. Hand out 5 business cards
  6. Book on a Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) course
  7. Register on the life coach directory
  8. Book a restaurant I have always wanted to go to
  9. Write a blog on goal setting
  10. Read two chapters of Tony Robbins – Awaken the Giant Within

 

Goals – Day 2

  1. Meditate for 20 minutes
  2. Publish a video blog
  3. Complete a random act of kindness
  4. Go for a half an hour walk
  5. Juice detox day
  6. Plan a date night with my husband
  7. Sign up to attend a womens networking event
  8. 50 press ups
  9. Write a list of ten future blog topics
  10. Choose a mentor

 

Goals – Day 3

  1. Meditate for 20 minutes
  2. Publish a video blog
  3. Complete a random act of kindness
  4. 25 minutes high intensity interval training exercise
  5. Book to stay in a hotel I have always wanted to stay at
  6. Write a blog on morning rituals of successful people
  7. Healthy breakfast
  8. Decide what my motto for my life is
  9. Read two chapters of Tony Robbins – Awaken the Giant Within
  10. Go for a half an hour walk

 

Goals – Day 4

  1. Meditate for 20 minutes
  2. Publish a video blog
  3. Complete a random act of kindness
  4. Run 6km
  5. Cook a healthy recipe from scratch for dinner
  6. Book to attend Tony Robbins London event
  7. 50 squats
  8. Write a blog on the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
  9. Listen to 1 hour of motivational podcasts
  10. Create a playlist of 15 motivational songs

 

Goals – Day 5

  1. Meditate for 20 minutes
  2. Publish a video blog
  3. Complete a RAOK
  4. Yoga
  5. Complete an Udemy online course on building my email list
  6. Prepare a bag of clothes to donate to charity
  7. Juice detox day
  8. Read three chapters of The Secret book
  9. Create a vision board for my business
  10. Sign up for a charity event

 

Goals – Day 6

  1. Meditate for 20 minutes
  2. Publish a video blog
  3. Complete a random act of kindness
  4. Run 8km
  5. 50 sit ups
  6. Schedule 7 facebook posts
  7. Book a flight somewhere I have never been before
  8. Write a blog post on organising an adventure
  9. Decide on the topic of my personal development book
  10. Go out for a champagne brunch

 

Goals – Day 7

  1. Meditate for 20 minutes
  2. Publish a video blog
  3. Complete a random act of kindness
  4. Go for a walk in Richmond Park
  5. Book to do something really random
  6. Write the skeleton outine of my second book
  7. Create a landing page
  8. Create a freebie for my website “Make 2016 Amazing”
  9. Write a blog on this challenge
  10. Buy myelf a present for achieving soo much in 1 week!
