Why you should smile more
Smiling triggers activity in your brain as there is a mind-body connection, in your left frontal cortex, which is the area of your brain that registers happiness.
One of the reasons we often feel happier around children is because they smile more. On average, they smile 400 times a day. Whilst happy people still smile 40-50 times a day, however the average person only smiles about 20 times.
